She claimed that Nwaduche slept with her every night for the duration of her treatment for her Ogbanje ailment which her mother had taken her there for.

However, when the victim’s mother realized that she was three months gone she chased her out of the house to go to the man who impregnated her.

When apprehended on the 21st of December 2021, at the Nimo police station, Nwaduche claimed that he only gave the girl treatment to cure her of the Ogbanje spirits disturbing her and had only started sleeping with her when her mother refused to pay the money for the treatment promising him that he could marry the girl as payment for the treatment.

Further investigation is to be carried out by the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department
