congrats, makes sense. Decent dressing is still very much valid .”

wendypeterschere also commented that;
“She’s so fine congrats to her .”

Amid these congratulations, viewers from the Northern part of the country were ecstatic. One Onismate wrote a whole paragraph eulogizing the Queen. He said;

Our HIJABI Queen… Lovely and amazing. She has proved that culture and religion can’t stop your dreams. And I have come to realize that some northern Nigeria are beginning to open up into circularity from joining BBNaija to Miss Nigeria. In the past we use to see Igbos and Yorubas representing northern States but it’s beginning to change. This year’s Miss Nigeria edition, I noticed that few of the ladies are Muslims and very comfortable I love the diversity and acceptance and the way it’s going .”

Shatu has indeed open the door to a change in the narratives of the north.
